International Surgery Case Reports Journal
The Surgery case reports journal is the official journal of the Japan Surgical Society. This open access, peer-reviewed, online journal will consider any original case reports in the fields of gastroenterological surgery, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, pediatric surgery, transplant surgery and emergency surgery.
The aim of the journal is to contribute to the advancement of surgery by providing an academic platform for doctors and researchers to disseminate their personal experiences and novel treatments to a wider readership and to review interesting, rare cases from colleagues worldwide.
Introduction
International of Surgery case reports journal is an open-access, wide-ranging journal covering all surgical specialties. It is dedicated to publishing case reports and case series. Articles should be honest, ethical, educational and clinically interesting for surgeons, trainees and researchers in all surgical subspecialties as well as practitioners in related fields.
All submitted case reports and case series must adhere to the relevant reporting criteria. The journal is published monthly and focuses on prompt submissions in time for adjudication.
All articles are peer-reviewed and, if accepted for publication, authors are notified of the decision and requested to pay an article processing fee. After payment of this fee, the article is made publicly available on ScienceDirect. The final official version of each case report is also sent to PubMed Central.

The journal presents original contributions and other special volumes to provide the most current source of information and references in pediatric surgery.
