Reports are organized according to the classification used by the American Gastroenterological Association; The growing collection of case reports will be searchable with commonly used terms, making it easier to find specific information. In these forums, clinicians and researchers communicate their observations to the widest possible audience in the community.

A case report may present a case study, case report, or other description of a case. Case reports present cases with significant new insights or unusual and remarkable courses. Submissions can be based on a single case or multiple similar cases. The most important aspect of a presentation is that it provides a new perspective on a recognized clinical condition or may represent an entirely new clinical condition.

Case novelty may lie in phenotype, presentation, investigation and/or management. We strongly encourage authors to follow CARE guidelines. The manuscript should include a detailed description of who and from whom written informed consent for publication was obtained. In case of death of the patient, consent for publication must be obtained from his/her next of kin. If the patient described in the case report is a minor or incapacitated, parental/legal guardian consent is required for publication. A completed consent form must be provided to the editor upon request and will be treated as confidential.

The Case Reports in Gastroenterology and clinical reviews on all aspects of the digestive system, liver, biliary tract and pancreas. Critical case reports that demonstrate originality or provide educational implications for diagnosis and treatment are particularly encouraged to be submitted. Gastroenterology Journal

Gastroenterology is the branch of medicine that studies diseases of the digestive system and related components. It involves an anatomical analysis of the anatomy and function of the gastrointestinal organs. Affecting the gastrointestinal tract is a major focus of gastroenterology. Hepatology is the study of the liver, pancreas, and biliary tract and is considered a subspecialty in this study.

Digestive System or Alimentary System Journal

The digestive system or alimentary tract includes the digestive organs along the esophagus and gastrointestinal tract from the mouth to the anus. Digestive organs include the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and liver. The main function of the digestive system is the digestion and absorption of food. The gastrointestinal tract is responsible for the mechanical breakdown of food into smaller molecules that begin in the mouth and continue in the stomach, and chemical digestion by enzymes released in the intestines helps the body absorb nutrients.
